The Roundstone Summerfest Weekend
Date: 12th - 15th August 2010
The Summerfest came about through the inititive of three young people from the village three years ago, with the idea to create activities for all genders and ages and to bring more visitors to the area.In the month of August the town comes alive with a jovial atmosphere of concerts, competitions and things to do for the whole family.
Children benefit from this extravaganza the most with highlights include the Helicopter demonstration of a Sea recue,and a golf putting competition. This is where people try to putt a golf ball into a floating island which has the final hole.
