The annual Easter Egg Hunt is for children under 12 years of age and the events starts at 2.00pm.

Christina Lowry presents this wonderful evening where musicians, singers, Irish Sean Nós dancers demonstrate traditional Irish culture with a strong Connemara influence. This is an evening not to be missed if you are staying or passing through the lovely village of Roundstone.

Every year boats of every description converge to be blessed, followed by mass at this small island.

The Tour De Bog cycle race will leave Roundstone village at 2.00pm and will make its way to Ballyconneely and back along the Bog Road through breath taking scenery until it reaches the village of Roundstone again. Locals and visitors can participate in this fund raising event which is sponsored by 2wheels.ie. All monies raised will go back into community projects.

Roundstone Registered Connemara Pony Fair begins at 8.00am sharp in Farrell’s Field. Foals must be on halters and we recommend that foals be blood typed and chipped prior to the fair day.

The Roundstone Regatta is the premier event for water sports in Connemara. Held in the idelyic and charming sea side village of Roundstone each July it features the The Galway Hooker and The Currach in races around the bay. The scene is spectacular. The Galway Hooker is a boat distinct to Ireland and has unique and elegant shapes and contours. It sails through the water resembling a work of art and is a sight that many people have expressed as being magical which is why the Regatta has established an internatonal reputation and attracts interest from all over the globe. The Roundstone regatta promises to be bigger and better this year. It is a two day event.
